We’ve got experience with Hyundai vehicles, and our qualified technicians can diagnose and service the A/C system in your 2020 Hyundai. In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2020 Hyundai Nexo A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. This check will include an examination of system pressure, a visual inspection, and a leak test. If any signs point to a possible leak, we’ll send a special U/V dye through the system, or use something called a “sniffer.” A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your Hyundai Nexo A/C system that can identify points where refrigerant fumes could be escaping the system. If your A/C system has a leak, we’ll find and repair it.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2020 Hyundai Nexo, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Hyundai guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and once we’ve done a final test on the system ourselves, you’re good to go. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2020 Hyundai Nexo A/C recharges.
Warm air isn't the only Hyundai Nexo A/C problem you may encounter. Another common A/C problem is weak airflow, which could indicate an old ventilation fan, a seal or hose that needs replacing, or mold buildup in your A/C system. An A/C system that starts off blowing cold air but then turns warm may suggest a leak, a blown fuse, or a damaged compressor clutch. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2020 Hyundai Nexo? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. Don’t sweat it — we’re here to help you chill out again in your Nexo.
