When you get in the car on a hot summer day, the last thing you want is a broken air conditioner. Is that a hot stove? Nope, just your steering wheel. Your skin sticks to the driver’s seat. We know Infiniti vehicles, and our trained technicians can identify and repair issues with 2012 Infiniti A/C systems. Steer your Infiniti G25 to your nearest Firestone Complete Auto Care
During this initial A/C performance check, we’ll look at the state of your 2012 Infiniti G25’s A/C system to see if repair work is required. This check will include an examination of system pressure, a visual inspection, and a leak test. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your Infiniti G25 A/C system that can detect refrigerant fumes escaping from the system. If there's a leak, we'll find it and fix it.
Let's say we repair your 2012 Infiniti G25 A/C system. We will also perform an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Infiniti guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re all set. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2012 Infiniti G25 A/C recharges.
Hot air is a common Infiniti G25 A/C problem, but it’s not the only issue you might encounter. Other common A/C problems include weak airflow, which could indicate an old ventilation fan, a seal or hose that needs replacing, or mold buildup in your A/C system. If your A/C system blows cold air first but then it turns warm, this may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2012 Infiniti G25? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. We’re here to help you get back on the road in your G25 — without all the sweat puddles!
