There’s nothing worse than cranking your car air conditioner on a hot day — and discovering it’s broken. Is that a hot stove? Nope, just your steering wheel. Sweat soaks the driver's seat. You wipe your brow and wonder, "Who can fix the A/C in my Infiniti G35?" Firestone Complete Auto Care can! We know our way around Infiniti vehicles, and our qualified technicians can diagnose and service the A/C system in your 2007 Infiniti. Come to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care in your Infiniti G35
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2007 Infiniti G35 A/C system to evaluate what repairs are necessary (if any). This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your Infiniti G35 A/C system to detect any refrigerant fumes that might be leaking out from the system. If your system has a leak, we can get it fixed.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2007 Infiniti G35, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To start this process, a technician will flush out the old refrigerant from your vehicle’s A/C system. Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Infiniti guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you're ready to get back on the road. We want you to be comfortable in your car, so we train our technicians to perform 2007 Infiniti G35 A/C recharges.
Hot air is a common Infiniti G35 A/C problem, but it’s not the only issue you might encounter. Another common A/C problem is weak airflow, which could mean you have a compromised seal, mildew or mold buildup, a loose or damaged hose, or a ventilation fan that needs to be replaced. If your A/C system blows cold air first but then it turns warm, this may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2007 Infiniti G35? You could have a moldy evaporator case, or you may simply need a new cabin air filter installed. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. Don’t sweat it — we’re here to help you chill out again in your G35.
