There’s nothing worse than cranking your car air conditioner on a hot day — and discovering it’s broken. Your steering wheel feels like lava. That puddle in the driver’s seat? Sweat. Ugh. You wipe your brow and wonder, "Who can fix the A/C in my Infiniti Q50?" Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We know our way around Infiniti vehicles, and our trained technicians can identify and repair issues with 2015 Infiniti A/C systems. Steer your Infiniti Q50 to your nearest Firestone Complete Auto Care
During this initial A/C performance check, we’ll look at the state of your 2015 Infiniti Q50’s A/C system to evaluate what repairs are necessary (if any). We’ll test overall system performance, check for any leaks, and measure the system pressure. If any signs point to a possible leak, we’ll send a special U/V dye through the system, or use something called a “sniffer.” What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your Infiniti Q50 A/C system to detect any refrigerant fumes that might be leaking out from the system. If your system has a leak, we can get it fixed.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2015 Infiniti Q50, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Infiniti guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re good to go. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2015 Infiniti Q50 A/C recharges.
Warm air isn't the only Infiniti Q50 A/C problem you may encounter. Other common A/C problems include weak airflow, which could be caused by mold or mildew buildup, a loose hose, an old ventilation fan, or a compromised seal. If you notice that your A/C system’s air is cold at first, then quickly goes warm, this can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. And smelly A/C in a 2015 Infiniti Q50? That could be the result of a dirty cabin air filter (an easy fix!) or a moldy evaporator case. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. We’re here to help you get back on the road in your Q50 — without all the sweat puddles!
