During an A/C performance check, we'll determine the condition of your 2015 Infiniti Q60 A/C system to evaluate what repairs are necessary (if any). We’ll test overall system performance, check for any leaks, and measure the system pressure. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your Infiniti Q60 A/C system that can detect refrigerant fumes escaping from the system. If your A/C system has a leak, we’ll find and repair it.
While your 2015 Infiniti Q60’s air conditioner is being serviced, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Infiniti guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and once the technician tests the cool blast for themselves, you’re all set. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2015 Infiniti Q60 A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential Infiniti Q60 A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Typical A/C problems also include weak airflow, which could mean you have a compromised seal, mildew or mold buildup, a loose or damaged hose, or a ventilation fan that needs to be replaced. If your A/C system blows cold air first but then it turns warm, this may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2015 Infiniti Q60? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. Don’t sweat it — we’re here to help you chill out again in your Q60.
