When you get in the car on a hot summer day, the last thing you want is a broken air conditioner. Your steering wheel feels like lava. That puddle in the driver’s seat? Sweat. Ugh. You wipe your brow and wonder, "Who can fix the A/C in my Infiniti Q60?" Firestone Complete Auto Care — that’s who! We know Infiniti vehicles, and our trained technicians can identify and repair issues with 2019 Infiniti A/C systems. Steer your Infiniti Q60 to your nearest Firestone Complete Auto Care
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2019 Infiniti Q60 A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If any signs point to a possible leak, we’ll send a special U/V dye through the system, or use something called a “sniffer.” What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your Infiniti Q60 A/C system to detect refrigerant fumes escaping from the system. If your A/C system has a leak, we’ll find and repair it.
While your 2019 Infiniti Q60’s air conditioner is being serviced, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Next, they will evacuate the system according to Infiniti's recommendations. Finally, we’ll recharge the A/C system with new refrigerant and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re good to go. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2019 Infiniti Q60 A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential Infiniti Q60 A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Typical A/C problems also include weak airflow, which could indicate an old ventilation fan, a seal or hose that needs replacing, or mold buildup in your A/C system. An A/C system that starts off blowing cold air but then turns warm can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2019 Infiniti Q60? You could have a moldy evaporator case, or you may simply need a new cabin air filter installed. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. So, chill out. We're here to help you get the blast back in your Q60’s A/C!
