When you get in the car on a hot summer day, the last thing you want is a broken air conditioner. Your steering wheel feels like it's burning your hands. Sweat soaks the driver's seat. You take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Who can fix my Land Rover LR4 A/C?” Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We’ve got experience with Land Rover vehicles, and our qualified technicians can diagnose and service the A/C system in your 2016 Land Rover. Come to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care in your Land Rover LR4
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2016 Land Rover LR4 A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If any signs point to a possible leak, we’ll send a special U/V dye through the system, or use something called a “sniffer.” A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your Land Rover LR4 A/C system that can detect any refrigerant fumes that might be leaking out from the system. If your system has a leak, we can get it fixed.
While your 2016 Land Rover LR4’s air conditioner is being serviced, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll use Land Rover’s specifications to evacuate the system. Finally, we’ll recharge the A/C system with new refrigerant and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re good to go. Our technicians know how to keep your A/C in tip-top shape with 2016 Land Rover LR4 A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential Land Rover LR4 A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Another common A/C problem is weak airflow, which could mean you have a compromised seal, mildew or mold buildup, a loose or damaged hose, or a ventilation fan that needs to be replaced. If you notice that your A/C system’s air is cold at first, then quickly goes warm, this may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2016 Land Rover LR4? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Technicians at Firestone Complete Auto Care are ready to help you address your A/C problems. So, chill out. We're here to help you get the blast back in your LR4’s A/C!
