Few things are worse than a broken car air conditioner on a hot summer day. Your steering wheel feels like it's burning your hands. That puddle in the driver’s seat? Sweat. Ugh. You wipe your brow and wonder, "Who can fix the A/C in my Acura TSX?" Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We know our way around Acura vehicles, and our trained technicians can identify and repair issues with 2013 Acura A/C systems. Come to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care in your Acura TSX
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2013 Acura TSX A/C system to see if repair work is required. We’ll test overall system performance, check for any leaks, and measure the system pressure. If we suspect a leak, we’ll send a U/V dye through your A/C system or use a “sniffer” to find the leak. A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your Acura TSX A/C system that can detect refrigerant fumes escaping from the system. If there's a leak, we'll find it and fix it.
While your 2013 Acura TSX’s air conditioner is being serviced, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Acura guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and once we’ve done a final test on the system ourselves, you’re good to go. We want you to be comfortable in your car, so we train our technicians to perform 2013 Acura TSX A/C recharges.
Warm air isn't the only Acura TSX A/C problem you may encounter. Typical A/C problems also include weak airflow, which could be caused by mold or mildew buildup, a loose hose, an old ventilation fan, or a compromised seal. If you notice that your A/C system’s air is cold at first, then quickly goes warm, this can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2013 Acura TSX? You could have a moldy evaporator case, or you may simply need a new cabin air filter installed. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. We’re here to help you get back on the road in your TSX — without all the sweat puddles!
