Few things are worse than a broken car air conditioner on a hot summer day. Your steering wheel feels like lava. Your skin sticks to the driver’s seat. You take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Who can fix my BMW 435i xDrive A/C?” Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We know our way around BMW vehicles, and our technicians are qualified to diagnose and repair 2014 BMW 435i xDrive A/C systems. Come to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care in your BMW 435i xDrive
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2014 BMW 435i xDrive A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. We’ll test overall system performance, check for any leaks, and measure the system pressure. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your BMW 435i xDrive A/C system to identify points where refrigerant fumes could be escaping the system. If there's a leak, we'll find it and fix it.
While your 2014 BMW 435i xDrive’s air conditioner is being serviced, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll use BMW’s specifications to evacuate the system. Finally, we’ll recharge the A/C system with new refrigerant and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re all set. Our technicians are trained to efficiently perform 2014 BMW 435i xDrive A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential BMW 435i xDrive A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Other common A/C problems include weak airflow, which could be caused by mold or mildew buildup, a loose hose, an old ventilation fan, or a compromised seal. An A/C system that starts off blowing cold air but then turns warm can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2014 BMW 435i xDrive? That could be the result of a dirty cabin air filter (an easy fix!) or a moldy evaporator case. Our technicians will work to solve your A/C problems to the best of their ability. So, chill out. We're here to help you get the blast back in your 435i xDrive’s A/C!
