There’s nothing worse than cranking your car air conditioner on a hot day — and discovering it’s broken. Your steering wheel feels like lava. Sweat soaks the driver's seat. You take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Who can fix my BMW 750i xDrive A/C?” Firestone Complete Auto Care can! We know BMW vehicles, and our technicians are qualified to diagnose and repair 2022 BMW 750i xDrive A/C systems. Bring your BMW 750i xDrive to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care
During this initial A/C performance check, we’ll look at the state of your 2022 BMW 750i xDrive’s A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." A "sniffer" is a machine that's run along parts of your BMW 750i xDrive A/C system that can detect refrigerant fumes escaping from the system. If your A/C system has a leak, we’ll find and repair it.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2022 BMW 750i xDrive, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Next, they will evacuate the system according to BMW's recommendations. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you’re all set. We want you to be comfortable in your car, so we train our technicians to perform 2022 BMW 750i xDrive A/C recharges.
Hot air is a common BMW 750i xDrive A/C problem, but it’s not the only issue you might encounter. Typical A/C problems also include weak airflow, which could indicate an old ventilation fan, a seal or hose that needs replacing, or mold buildup in your A/C system. An A/C system that starts off blowing cold air but then turns warm may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2022 BMW 750i xDrive? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Our technicians will work to solve your A/C problems to the best of their ability. So, chill out. We're here to help you get the blast back in your 750i xDrive’s A/C!
