Few things are worse than a broken car air conditioner on a hot summer day. Your steering wheel feels like lava. That puddle in the driver’s seat? Sweat. Ugh. You take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Who can fix my BMW 750Li A/C?” Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We know BMW vehicles, and our trained technicians can identify and repair issues with 2008 BMW A/C systems. Bring your BMW 750Li to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care
During this initial A/C performance check, we’ll look at the state of your 2008 BMW 750Li’s A/C system to determine whether repair work is needed. This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If we suspect a leak, we’ll send a U/V dye through your A/C system or use a “sniffer” to find the leak. What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your BMW 750Li A/C system to identify points where refrigerant fumes could be escaping the system. If your system has a leak, we can get it fixed.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2008 BMW 750Li, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. During this process, a technician will remove the old refrigerant from the A/C system. Then, they’ll use BMW’s specifications to evacuate the system. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and after one final test to be sure the system is cooling properly, you're ready to get back on the road. We want you to be comfortable in your car, so we train our technicians to perform 2008 BMW 750Li A/C recharges.
Warm air isn't the only BMW 750Li A/C problem you may encounter. Another common A/C problem is weak airflow, which could mean you have a compromised seal, mildew or mold buildup, a loose or damaged hose, or a ventilation fan that needs to be replaced. An A/C system that starts off blowing cold air but then turns warm can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2008 BMW 750Li? That could be the result of a dirty cabin air filter (an easy fix!) or a moldy evaporator case. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. We’re here to help you get back on the road in your 750Li — without all the sweat puddles!
