There’s nothing worse than cranking your car air conditioner on a hot day — and discovering it’s broken. Your steering wheel feels like it's burning your hands. Your skin sticks to the driver’s seat. You take a deep breath and ask yourself, “Who can fix my Lexus GS350 A/C?” Easy — Firestone Complete Auto Care! We’ve got experience with Lexus vehicles, and our technicians are qualified to diagnose and repair 2013 Lexus GS350 A/C systems. Come to your local Firestone Complete Auto Care in your Lexus GS350
During this initial A/C performance check, we’ll look at the state of your 2013 Lexus GS350’s A/C system to evaluate what repairs are necessary (if any). This check includes a visual inspection, performance test, and pressure and leak test. If we think there might be a leak, we'll run a special U/V dye through the system or use a "sniffer." What’s a “sniffer,” you ask? It’s a specially designed machine that’s used on parts of your Lexus GS350 A/C system to detect any refrigerant fumes that might be leaking out from the system. If there's a leak, we'll find it and fix it.
Let's say we repair your 2013 Lexus GS350 A/C system. We will also perform an A/C evacuation and recharge. To do this, one of our technicians will remove the refrigerant in your A/C system (if there is even any left to remove). Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Lexus guidelines. To finish, we’ll add new refrigerant to recharge the A/C system, and once the technician tests the cool blast for themselves, you’re good to go. We want you to be comfortable in your car, so we train our technicians to perform 2013 Lexus GS350 A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential Lexus GS350 A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Another common A/C problem is weak airflow, which could be caused by mold or mildew buildup, a loose hose, an old ventilation fan, or a compromised seal. If your A/C system blows cold air first but then it turns warm, this can mean there’s a malfunctioning compressor clutch, a leak, or a blown fuse. What about those (somewhat unpleasant!) smells coming through the A/C vents in your 2013 Lexus GS350? This can mean you have mold in your evaporator case, or it may indicate that it’s time to change your cabin air filter. Our trained technicians will do what they can to solve your A/C problems. We’re here to help you get back on the road in your GS350 — without all the sweat puddles!
