There’s nothing worse than cranking your car air conditioner on a hot day — and discovering it’s broken. Your steering wheel feels like it's burning your hands. Sweat soaks the driver's seat. You wipe your brow and wonder, "Who can fix the A/C in my Lexus RX350?" Firestone Complete Auto Care — that’s who! We’ve got experience with Lexus vehicles, and our technicians are qualified to diagnose and repair 2013 Lexus RX350 A/C systems. Steer your Lexus RX350 to your nearest Firestone Complete Auto Care
In this A/C performance inspection, we’ll check out the current condition of your 2013 Lexus RX350 A/C system to evaluate what repairs are necessary (if any). This check will include an examination of system pressure, a visual inspection, and a leak test. If we suspect a leak, we’ll send a U/V dye through your A/C system or use a “sniffer” to find the leak. A “sniffer” isn’t a technician with a good nose! It’s a machine that’s used on different parts of your Lexus RX350 A/C system to identify points where refrigerant fumes could be escaping the system. If your system has a leak, we can get it fixed.
When we perform an A/C repair on your 2013 Lexus RX350, we’ll also do an A/C evacuation and recharge. During this process, a technician will remove the old refrigerant from the A/C system. Then, they’ll perform an evacuation (also known as a discharge) on the entire system per Lexus guidelines. The A/C system is recharged with new refrigerant and once we’ve done a final test on the system ourselves, you’re all set. Our technicians know how to keep your A/C in tip-top shape with 2013 Lexus RX350 A/C recharges.
You may think warm air is the only potential Lexus RX350 A/C problem you’ll have, but you may notice other issues, too. Other common A/C problems include weak airflow, which could be caused by mold or mildew buildup, a loose hose, an old ventilation fan, or a compromised seal. If your A/C system blows cold air first but then it turns warm, this may be due to a clogged expansion valve, faulty compressor clutch, blown fuse, or leak. Are you breathing in some “interesting” new odors in your 2013 Lexus RX350? That could be the result of a dirty cabin air filter (an easy fix!) or a moldy evaporator case. Technicians at Firestone Complete Auto Care are ready to help you address your A/C problems. So, chill out. We're here to help you get the blast back in your RX350’s A/C!
